Screamin' 1/4 Models

When Screamin' started, they produced only 1/4 scale kits. They began with horror subjects, primarily of the modern variety, like Jason from Friday the 13th and Freddy Kruger. At the time, these kits dwarfed most other figure kits available, and continue to do so today. To keep prices relatively low, they were produced in soft vinyl, and depending on the kit, sometimes had resin, hard plastic, metal, or cardboard accessory parts. After their first few releases, they expanded from the horror genre into science fiction. This lead to numerous kits based on the Star Wars universe as well as Flash Gordon and the ever popular Rocketeer. Toward the end, it looked like the company was going more in the direction of smaller 1/6 and 1/8 scale kits.
